: Catholics lining up to have their “palaspas” (specially woven and decorated palm fronds) blessed by the priest after Mass.

: Waving “palaspas” to re-enact Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem, the priest goes around and sprinkles holy water to bless the palm fronds.

: “Palaspas” for sale at the local church (apologies for the crappy cellphone camera shot).
